  Kyogle Examiner & Upper Richmond Examiner 23 April 1929 Death of a Child (Athol McGuiness) The seven year old son of Mr and Mrs H C McGuinness (sic), of Mullumbimby (and late of Cawongla) died on Thursday following an operation for appendicitis. The body was brought to Kyogle where the interment took place on Friday afternoon, the Rev. AJ Bingley conducting the service.
