  Notes	Date from William Wirt Flacks genealogy papers. Location though is an educated guess by me - on the following basis:- In 1850 William was in Kentucky with his parents - while future wife Maria Brown was in Illinois, Adams County with her mother and stepfather. In 1860 William and Maria are now married and both living in Illinois, Adams County. The obvious inference to me is that Willaim moved - Maria stayed put - and marriage was in Illinois.   BIOGRAPHY: Despite all the spelling variations of his middle name 'WIRT' in census records - as William uses WIRT in his own genealogy papers, I tend to believe him. William Wirt Flack was one of the 'main' providers of Genealogy Information for this particular leg of the Flack family tree. William and his 3rd Cousin James A Flack (RIN 108) back in Doylestown, Bucks County often corresponded with each other and exchanged genealogy information. William and James's Family Genealogy eventually got passed down to 'Carol Temlin' and this combined information is used extensively in the building of this family tree. Jim Flack - 2 Jan 2008 BIRTH: Dates from William Wirt Flacks genealogy papers (His own). Jim Flack - 1 Jan 2008 DEATH: When William Wirt Flack died, his father William Scott Flack wrote to James Flack in Doylestown, PA offering all Wirt's Genealogy papers. (an offer which James obviously took up) In the letter dated 18 Mar, 1909 - he also says " ........ WW Flack my son left Davenport Iowa some four years since and died in Portland Oregon about three years since. ...........
