Biography which mentions James Flack (b.1786) and Margaret Ramsey, their son John Flack (b.1823) with wife Nancy Russell and their son Dr William Frank Flack (b.1857). The family moves from Pennsylvania thro Ohio and Indiana to Kansas.

Notes - Frank was a 1912 graduate of the University of Kansas School of
Medicine. He served as a first lieutenant with the Medical Corps
during World War I. He became chief surgeon for Sinclair Oil Co.
retiring from the firm in 1953 at which time he went into private
practice.
Frank was once a professional baseball player in the minor leagues
and was formerly a physician to the Tulsa Oilers. He was a member of
the Oklahoma State Medical Association, a diplomate of the American
Board of Surgery and a member of the Tulsa County Medical Society and
American Medical Association.
In 1943 he was chief of staff at St. John's Hospital. He served as
president of the county medical society in 1956. He was honored by
Northtulsans in 1954 for his work at Moton Memorial Hospital and in
1958 was selected by the auxilliary of the county medical society as
doctor of the year.
An active Mason, he was a charter member of the Tulsa Consistory and
a member of the Akdar Shrine, Knights Templar at Coffeyville and the
Blue Lodge of Harstead, Kansas. In addition he was a member of the
American Legion and a former board member of the First Methodist
Church.
